It is my belief that the information obtained from this assignment will be beneficial to me as a generalist social worker. This was a group project where my group visited and interviewed homeless individuals. We were allowed to get a glimpse into the lives of this fragile population through observation and their generosity. The interviews were given at the Chattanooga Community Kitchen where our interviewees received their meals and were given a place to sleep in the homeless shelter. It is my belief that the primary information received from this project will allow us to work with this particular subgroup residing in our community. It is believed that the information received from this assignment will allow us to better support the families and loved ones of this group.
